It is an international, vendor-neutral certification recognized by major hardware and software vendors, distributors and resellers. CompTIA A+ confirms a technician's ability to perform tasks such as installation, configuration, diagnosing, preventive maintenance and basic networking.*

 

CompTIA Network+® Certification
CompTIA Network+ validates the knowledge and skills of networking professionals. It is an international, vendor-neutral certification that recognizes a technician's ability to describe the features and functions of networking components and to install, configure and troubleshoot basic networking hardware, protocols and services. Although not a prerequisite, it is recommended that CompTIA Network+ candidates have at least nine months of experience in network support or administration or adequate academic training, along with a CompTIA A+ certification.*

 

CompTIA i-Net+® Certification
CompTIA i-Net+ validates basic technical knowledge of Internet, Intranet and e-commerce technologies. It is ideal for professionals who participate in the development of Web-related applications, and maintenance of Internet infrastructure and services. CompTIA i-Net+ is also beneficial for individuals who sell and market Internet solutions. Although not a prerequisite, it is recommended that CompTIA i-Net+ candidates have at least six months experience working with the Internet, Intranet or e-commerce technologies.*
